Home Insurance Assumptions

In order for you to apply for an online illustrative household quotation you must agree to the following:

• That you have had no claims or losses within the last 5 years.
• That you have had no prior convictions and that you have no prosecutions pending.
• That you and your family solely occupy the home as your principal residence.
• That you do not carry on any business from the house
• Please note if childminding or B&B business is carried on this can be accommodated however contact us by phone for quote if this is the case.
• That the home and domestic outbuildings are of standard construction, i.e., walls entirely of brick stone or concrete and roof entirely of slate or tile.
• That you have not had any home insurance proposal or renewal declined or cancelled, or had special conditions imposed.
• That the home is not in an area liable to flooding, heave, subsidence, or landslip.
